Christopher Lee has over a decade experience in healthcare and life-sciences spanning digital health, drug delivery, and company creation. He is Co-Founder, CEO at Fourier Health. Prior to Fourier, Chris was Co-Founder, COO of InfiniteMD, a leading expert opinion platform with over 3,500 specialists across the US. InfiniteMD was ultimately acquired by Alight Solutions (NYSE:ALIT) via ConsumerMedical in 2021. InfiniteMD serves over 30M enterprise lives today. Chris is also Co-Founder of Despierta, a Miami-based healthcare venture studio, Co-Founder at Akita Biosciences, and an active angel investor. He holds a masters degree from Johns Hopkins, and though he holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the joint Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, Chris has not donned a lab coat in quite some time.
Chris presently resides in Miami, FL. Outside of Fourier, Chris enjoys racket sports, highly disorganized vacations, cold-plunging, and losing to teenagers in all sorts of video games on Xbox Live.
James has over 16 years of experience in healthcare technology and entrepreneurial leadership. He is the CTO and Co-Founder of Fourier Health, overseeing Product, Engineering, and Security. Prior to Fourier, he was the CTO and Co-Founder of Redox ($100M raised, Series D), the leading healthcare data platform transacting 1 billion+ monthly patient messages across over 3,000 health systems and software partners. Prior to starting Redox, James was an engineer at Epic and was a founding board member of 100state, a community-focused coworking space in Madison, WI.
James currently lives in Fort Collins, CO with his partner Ashley and their two cats, Boris and Catyeah. Outside of Fourier, James spends time at his brewery, Purpose Brewing, and enjoys hiking, camping, woodworking, and gardening.
Kevin has over 12 years of experience working as a software engineer, with a focus on building machine learning and AI-driven applications. He has worked in the legal, cybersecurity, consulting, SaaS, and healthcare industries. Prior to Fourier, Kevin was Co-Founder, Head of AI at Sprig ($88M raised, Series B), which continues to help product builders connect with and understand their customers. Kevin earned his PhD in Engineering Physics from the University of California, San Diego.
Kevin lives in San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, gaming with friends, and going on long, meandering walks with his wife, Helen.
Chris has almost 15 years of professional software support and engineering experience, focusing mainly on interoperability and data integration domains particularly in the health tech space. Previous roles include Technical Support, Application Support Engineer, and Software Engineer at Epic as well as Senior Engineer at Redox and Staff Engineer at Carbon Health. Chris has architected, built and supported several critical integrations and data pipelines across fast-paced startups of various sizes.
Chris lives in Minneapolis, MN with his partner Maren and their two poodles Olive and Ascii. Outside of work, you can find him at the billiards hall or in his garage workshop designing and crafting wooden furniture.
Kyle Tilman serves as a Staff Software Engineer at Fourier Health, bringing over 15 years of deliberate code crafting experience to the team. Throughout his career, Kyle has specialized in healthcare interoperability, complex data integrations, and high-performance data pipelines. Prior to Fourier, at Flexpa, Kyle engineered transformations between unstructured healthcare data and FHIR standards that unlocked access to millions of patient records and optimized data pipelines to significantly increase processing efficiency.
Prior to Flexpa, Kyle started the Interoperability team at Carbon Health, processing and handling data for more than 10M lives. His expertise extends to his work at Redox, where he worked on the core data processing for the Redox Engine.
Kyle lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife and three children. When he's not solving complex technical problems, he can be found exploring the outdoors - hiking, camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding with his family.
Jared is a software engineering generalist with 20+ years experience programming for fun and profession. He has worked in a variety of industries, including: power transmission and distribution, healthcare, education, and most recently experimentation and analytics at Dropbox.
When not at a computer, he enjoys playing at the park with his son, billiards, and instrumental music.
Cameron Meade has over a decade of experience in digital health implementation and professional services. Prior to Fourier, Cameron was Head of Professional Services at Vital, delivering digital patient experiences for patients in the emergency and inpatient settings. She served as a technical and operational leader, guiding clients from the sales process through the configuration and deployment of their patient engagement platform. Before Vital, Cameron was an Integration Manager at PatientPing (now Bamboo Health) and started her career as a project manager at Epic.
Cameron lives in Portland, ME with her husband Matt and yellow lab, Brie. Outside of work, she likes to enjoy seasonal Maine activities (skiing, hiking, beach-going), cheering on local sports teams (go Sea Dogs!), and catching up on her to-be-read list.
Gabrielle Zurawski is the VP, Clinical Solutions at Fourier Health. Gabbie is a compact licensed registered nurse with a wealth of experience in healthcare technology and clinical operations. Gabrielle specializes in clinical program implementation, workflow development, and building successful cross-functional teams. Gabrielle cares deeply about improving healthcare quality for patients and providers using innovative technology solutions. Prior to joining our team, Gabrielle spent time as the Clinical Operations Manager at InfiniteMD, later acquired by Alight Solutions (NYSE:ALIT), and providing direct patient care as a staff nurse in various inpatient and ambulatory settings.
Gabrielle lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Gary, and their two daughters. Outside of work, Gabrielle can be found drinking iced coffee while chasing her kids at the playground, attempting to bake a pie, or singing along to the soundtrack of a Broadway musical.
Christine White is Senior Director of Oncology Operations at Fourier Health. Chrissy is an oncology-certified nurse and has broad experience spanning clinical care, health tech, consulting, and payor services. Chrissy started her career at Tufts Health Plan, managing small employer groups before heading back to school for nursing. Her bedside nursing career kicked off at MGH, where she developed a passion for serving the oncology population. Prior to Fourier, Chrissy also worked at InfiniteMD/ConsumerMedical (acquired NYSE:ALIT), managing oncology-focused remote expert opinions for nonprofit programs, and at InterSystems as a Clinical Application Specialist supporting EHR workflow development. She continues to serve as a consultant for value-based care delivery models of oncology and palliative care. She is deeply passionate about improving care quality for patients and optimizing workflows for the teams that tirelessly work to support them.
Chrissy lives outside of Boston, MA with her husband and two boys. Outside of Fourier, Chrissy can be found spending time with her family, attempting to garden when her kids and the Boston weather allows, reading, and exploring new trails in the area.
Ashley Williamson is the Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist at Fourier Health. Ashley is a quality-driven registered nurse with more than a decade of experience in hospice, intensive care, medical-surgical nursing, clinical education, and informatics. She specializes in bridging clinical care with system-level improvements—from EMR optimization and staff training to accreditation readiness. Whether at the bedside or behind the scenes, Ashley is dedicated to improving outcomes and equipping teams with the tools they need to deliver exceptional care. Prior to joining Fourier, she held leadership and education roles at Nuvance Health and Hudson Valley Hospice, where she led EMR implementations, compliance initiatives, and large-scale staff training programs.
Ashley lives in Rhinebeck, NY with her husband and children. When she’s not in work mode, she can usually be found digging in her vegetable garden, experimenting in the kitchen with a recipe, or chasing after her kids in the yard.
Kristin Fox has decades of experience working adjacent to healthcare and entrepreneurship, from her early roles as a medical assistant and physician liaison at Chicago Consulting Physicians, a high-volume vendor for the Social Security Administration’s Disability program, to her later work as an operational generalist and technical recruiter managing large-scale hiring efforts at Redox, a leading healthcare data platform.
Kristin holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in Montessori Education from Loyola University Maryland.
In 2024, prior to joining Fourier, Kristin’s interest in healthcare was reignited after a traumatic elbow injury put her in the care of a variety of talented clinicians for nearly a year. The experience renewed her motivation to make a meaningful impact in this field.
Kristin lives in Austin, TX with her 3 entrepreneurial kids and mini goldendoodle, Waffles. Outside of Fourier, Kristin enjoys meeting interesting people, practicing yoga, reading nonfiction, mentoring, sailing, telling stories, and brainstorming startup ideas.
Erkin Otles is a physician-engineer hell-bent on bridging engineering and healthcare by applying artificial intelligence to challenging medical problems. He provides clinical NLP and LLM strategy for Fourier. Erkin is set to complete his joint MD-PhD training at the University of Michigan in May. He previously worked as an engineer at Epic. Erkin has over a decade of experience developing and implementing AI tools for patients, physicians, and health systems; these tools have been used over 5 million times in the care of hundreds of thousands of patients. He has authored over 20 academic papers on healthcare AI, and his work has been covered in NPR, STAT News, The Washington Post, and Wired.
Erkin lives with his spouse and daughter in Ann Arbor, MI. Outside Fourier, he enjoys exploring new cities, cooking for friends, and blasting “Let It Go.”
Emily Alsentzer is a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her research develops trustworthy machine learning and natural language processing methods for healthcare, with a focus on settings with limited annotated data. Emily received her PhD from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology where she was a recipient of the Microsoft Research Fellowship. She holds degrees in computer science (BS) and biomedical informatics (MS) from Stanford University. Emily has served as General Chair for the Machine Learning for Health Symposium and founding organizer for the Conference on Health, Inference and Learning (CHIL) and the Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for Learning Health Systems (SAIL). Emily has published across computer science and clinical venues, including in NeurIPS, NAACL, Nature Communications, Lancet Digital Health, NPJ Digital Medicine, CHIL, and PSB. Her work has been featured in Stat News and the Washington Post. Emily provides clinical NLP and LLM strategy for Fourier.
Emily is originally from Nashville, but currently resides in Boston. Outside of work, Emily enjoys kayaking, board games, podcasts, making and eating cheese, and cheering on the Red Sox.
Andy Ellner has two decades of experience as a practicing physician, health systems expert, and entrepreneur, focused on innovations to drive access to great healthcare for everyone. At Fourier Health, he serves as CMO. Prior to Fourier, Andy was Co-Founder, CEO and Chief Clinical Officer of Firefly Health, a virtual-first advanced primary care company that cares for members and offers health plan products in 50 states. Before Firefly, Andy spent a decade on the faculty of Harvard Medical School (HMS), where he was founding Co-Director of the HMS Center for Primary Care and founding director of Program in Global Primary Care and Social Change.
Andy has an MD from Harvard Medical School and a masters degree in health policy and economics from the London School of Economics; while he continues to practice medicine on a weekly basis, he, like Chris, has not worn a white coat since his student days. Andy currently lives in Cambridge, MA. Outside of Fourier, Andy loves skiing, literature, cooking and spending half of his time watching, and shuttling his kids to various sport events.
Juan is an experienced internal medicine physician with over a decade of specialized experience in pulmonary diseases, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the medical field. With a robust research background, Juan completed a prestigious four-year postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard. Juan plays a pivotal role in ensuring clinical data quality at Fourier Health. Juan also actively provides patient care in a multi-ethnic environment at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System.
Outside of his medical commitments, Juan resides in Miami, FL, with his wife and a cherished canine companion, Murphy. Juan is also an avid basketball player and enjoys playing country music and participating in various outdoor activities.
